Here is a chat I had with the Lovely Suze at the beginning of September, where we chat about her account @the.style.toast on Instagram, how she creates those beautiful images and her bargain finds on eBay.
Rubbish London Brand ♻️
Behind the small business
I found this brand @rubbishlondonbrand when I won a competition via @astridiwantyouinmylife on Instagram.
I was so pleased I had won a jumper with lips on and then I found out so much more about the business. I have been so grateful recently to the ladies that have said yes to a video chat and now I am so grateful to Matt too. He is thoughtful, hardworking, talented, a CEO, a designer, a challenger, a wrapper, packer and all round great person that produces sustainable clothing for people who want to help change the world. Forgive our hair, our lighting and timing, it was the hottest day, we hadn’t had our hair done and had been stuck in muggy cities for weeks. Through our chat I realised just how epic Matt is he launched his business just 10 days before Lock down….
Thanks as always for watching, I only hope I’ve done Matt and his brand justice.

The one with….Buttons and Blazers
I have recently started some chats with some fab influencers and here is my first one with Sam whose handle is @buttonsandblazers on instagram.
She is a lovely lady whose style is classic but still stays on trend, so I asked her who her favourite brands are and who or what has given her inspiration. I hope you enjoy it.
Interesting article on how stress can make you grey

This article appeared in the Metro last week discussing the fact that stress can spead the greying process up.
Going back to my roots – Yes the grey ones!

For a while there I had forgotten why I started this blog and got stuck in an Instagram world of fashion and followers and that really wasn’t why I decided to lay my thoughts out on the internet. So I am going back to my roots, yes the grey ones!
I originally started the blog as I really hadn’t come to terms with going grey, I couldn’t colour my hair due the severe allergies (see previous post’s) and this blog was going to be all about me going grey and living with it. Whilst setting up the blog, I set up an Instagram account too, followed some Silver haired beauties and then started following more influencers with all their fashion and style advice and some how got caught in a trap of wanting to be like them and get more followers.
A friend asked me “what does that mean more followers”? And they were right, this wasn’t about the followers, this was about me, my pixel of the internet. As I tell others, be true to yourself and your tribe will follow anyway.
Whilst I was in Instagram mode my hairdressers found a greyt hair colour/dye (Elumen hair dye, will do a post on that soon) that I am not allergic too and have now used it for the past 7 months and I blinking love it. But it did stop me from writing about going grey, as I have deferred it (for a while, well 6 weeks at a time).
So I am heading back to those grey roots because they are there, whether I hide them or not.
Walk in the sunshine…

Tuesday’s Temptations
This week my Tuesday’s temptations have been chosen from & Other Stories, as I look towards the summer holidays and try to plan some outfits. I love block primary colours and mixing them all up.
This outfit takes you from pool to evening just by adding other accessories.
A perfect dress to wear to the beach and then out for the evening if necessary.
I am very late to the party with the raffia bags, but I really like this one with the leather strap detail. The size is perfect to hold your beach towel, suncream and whatever else you want to put in there.
I love a comfy but pretty sandal and these do just the job.
This style of bikini is perfect to give shape to a boyish figure but also to enhance those with curves.
Everyone needs a big hat, no more said.
Just because it’s red and pretty.
Now all we need to do is go on holiday!
Thanks

Tuesday’s Temptations
I haven’t posted for a while so wanted to get my butt into gear so today’s the day. Whilst out at the weekend I popped into Oliver Bonas for some birthday pressie inspiration only to realise they have some lovely clothes (especially dresses) in stock at the moment. So they have inspired me to start Tuesday’s Temptations.
- First up is this beautiful leaf print dress, that is bang on trend – £75.00
2. I love an animal print whether leopard, cow or dalmatian. The great thing about a classic shirt dress is you can use a belt or put it over jeans or leggings and it will still look fab – £69.50
3. This block dress is my favorite, you could wear with different colour shoes to really make a statement. – £69.50
4. This dress is also bang on trend, lots of white dresses happening all over the place this season. The pattern on this one is lovely and made with quality. – £85.00
5. It’s not a dress you are right, but it is a gorgeous bright orange skirt. The material is so touchy feely, I had to buy it. The fit and belt are just perfect for a bit of a mum tum and true to size. Not too short either. – £49.50
This is not an Ad for Oliver Bonas just lovely items of clothing I would buy myself.
